Gendered norms, unequal access to resources, unpaid care burdens, and underrepresentation in decision-making processes deepen disparities in health outcomes. Addressing these gaps requires redesigning health systems through an equity-focused lens—one that centers gender, socioeconomic status, and cultural context—to ensure that healthcare is accessible, responsive, and just for all.
